kkyoder@iupui.edu During her graduate training, Dr. Yoder gained extensive experience in neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, and behavioral pharmacology. This knowledge base formed an excellent and unique foundation for her transition into the use of positron emission tomography (PET) to study the in vivoneurophysiology of psychiatric and neurological disorders in humans and animal models of disease. Dr. Yoder has extensive training in the theory and application of tracer kinetic modeling, which is critical for proper experimental design and interpretation of PET data. Recently, Dr. Yoder’s interests have expanded to other cutting-edge in vivo magnetic resonance (MR) neuroimaging methods such as functional connectivity, structural connectivity, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy, with the ultimate goal of developing sound multi-modality (i.e., PET, MR) data analyses approaches that will better inform how neurochemical systems are regulated in the brain.
