BOUGH

BOUGH**, short for Bridge Outside Users to GitHub, enables project teams to converge their git repositories and issues with their web applications and end users, without requiring those users to have a Github account.

While one typical workflow involves use of a project management tool like JIRA coupled with github issues for code changes, BOUGH's integrated approach built entirely on top of Github and the Github API allows teams that have a large number of repositories including issue-only repositories use Kanban add-on tools like Zenhub while also allowing end-users to interact directly with appropriate repositories when they want to request a new feature or report a bug.

Once authentication and authorization tokens are setup, git issues can be created on one or more repositories by end-users who then can continue the conversation via email.

** The word bough, per dictionary.com, means "a branch of a tree, especially one of the larger or main branches."
